Paige Teel Named to the Mainebiz 2026 “40 Under 40”
Our co-founder and chief experience officer joins the fifth class of the statewide honor recognizing the leaders shaping Maine’s next chapter.
We’re thrilled to share that Paige Teel, co-founder and chief experience officer of Tides to Pines Vacations, has been named one of Mainebiz’s 2026 40 Under 40 honorees — the business publication’s annual list of young leaders who are building Maine’s economy and the communities around it.
Now in its fifth year, the program spotlights 40 emerging leaders from across the state and from a wide mix of fields, including financial services, health care, hospitality, nonprofits and construction. Honorees must live and work in Maine, and Mainebiz looks for people who pair business success with a real commitment to the places they live and work.
The Profile
Juggling vacation rentals and a love of sports
In its honoree profile, Mainebiz captures the balancing act Paige pulls off every day: helping grow one of Maine’s fastest-expanding vacation rental companies while staying devoted to her love of sports. It’s a great read, and we encourage you to check out the full piece to hear her story in her own words.
The Journey
From friendly rivals to Maine’s largest rental manager
Paige got her start in vacation rentals in the Rockport area in 2017 and quickly became a leading voice in the industry. By 2020 she was general manager of On The Water in Maine Vacation Rentals and president of the regional trade group Northeast Vacation Rental Professionals, and her experience also includes time at Vacasa.
In 2023, she and Molly Hooper — once competitors running rival property management companies in Rockland — joined forces to launch Tides to Pines. Today, as Maine’s only Casago franchise, the company cares for more than 465 homes from the coast to the North Woods, making it the largest vacation rental management company in the state.
“Maine is full of incredible movers and shakers.”
— Paige Teel, on joining the 2026 class
As chief experience officer, Paige brings more than a decade of know-how in hospitality management, acquisitions, marketing and owner relations. She’s the reason our homes are carefully curated, our homeowners feel like true partners, and our guests get the extras — from private chefs to local recommendations — that turn a rental into a real Maine experience.
The Celebration
Honoring the Class of 2026
Mainebiz is celebrating this year’s honorees at a reception at Thompson’s Point in Portland on Thursday, November 5. Paige says the best part of the honor is standing alongside such a talented and passionate group of classmates — and we couldn’t agree more.
Please join us in congratulating Paige, along with all of her fellow honorees. We’re so proud to have her leading the way.
