Tides to Pines by Casago — a locally owned and female-founded vacation rental management company headquartered in Rockland — announced that Rachel Loomis Lee, director of community development, has won the 2026 VRMA Rising Star Award. Presented by the VRMA at its annual conference in Nashville, Tennessee, the award recognizes emerging leaders who are making meaningful contributions to their organizations and the vacation rental industry as a whole.
As director of community development at Tides to Pines, Lee builds lasting relationships with homeowners, local businesses, community organizations and guests. With a deep background in nonprofit and community development, she has always believed that strong relationships build strong communities, and her leadership has been integral to the company’s growing concierge program.
The program’s mission is simple: Tides to Pines aims to make vacation planning and travel more convenient by handling details that allow guests to focus on enjoying their time in Maine. Services range from grocery stocking and private chef arrangements to special event planning and curated local experiences. Through these offerings, the company also connects visitors with Maine businesses and service providers, supporting the local economy.
Founded in 2023 on the belief that exceptional hospitality begins with local expertise and genuine care for the homes entrusted to them, Tides to Pines has steadily built a reputation for elevated guest experiences and strong homeowner partnerships. Bringing more than 35 years of combined experience in hospitality and vacation rental management, Tides to Pines has experienced tremendous growth in recent months, but its ownership team remains committed to building a company where personal relationships and genuine stewardship of homeowners’ properties come first.
“What makes this recognition so special is that I get to do work I genuinely love, with people I believe in, at a place I’m lucky enough to call home,” said Lee. “I am incredibly proud to be part of what we’re building at Tides to Pines.”
“Rachel is an invaluable member of our Tides to Pines team. Her innovative spirit and marketing savvy have helped launch our new business beyond our greatest dreams and wildest expectations. The concierge program that Rachel has implemented for Tides to Pines has been a game-changer for the business and our clients. We are so happy that she has been recognized with this prestigious award.”
