With towering knotty pine ceilings and three walls of windows, the bright and airy great room was designed to maximize the stunning river view. Curl up in the window seat as you watch for wildlife in the surrounding woods, or sit down with a favorite book for some quiet time. After a day of kayaking on the Sasanoa River or strolling along Mile Beach in Reid State Park, gather your family for a movie night in front of the flatscreen TV, VCR, and DVD player. Upload some pictures of you on the water over the WiFi. Pick up some fresh local steamers and lobsters from the legendary Five Islands Lobster Co. and prepare a seafood feast in the spacious full kitchen. You'll have plenty of cabinet space to store your groceries, as well as a dishwasher to take care of the clean-up. There is seating for eight around the dining table in the great room, but you'll spend most of the summer and fall around the patio table on the deck.
