Island View Cottage, the larger of the two homes, is a bright, spacious four-bedroom, three-bath retreat built in 2019. Water and island views fill nearly every room, and a first-floor bedroom and full bath offer added flexibility for families traveling with multiple generations.

Next door, Lighthouse Cottage is a charming three-bedroom, two-bath coastal cottage with its own first-floor bedroom and full bath. Comfortable and relaxed, it’s a wonderful home base for days spent exploring the Midcoast—or doing very little at all.
And doing very little here is pretty easy. Walk down to the sandy beach. Launch a kayak and paddle the cove, where you may find seals keeping you company. Spend an afternoon by the water, pick up fresh lobster from a local boat nearby, then come home for dinner and an evening of ocean breezes. Or let someone else handle breakfast and dinner. Guests staying at the cottages enjoy complimentary breakfast each morning at The Causeway Restaurant at the nearby Craignair Inn. Guests also receive a $100 dining credit for each week of their stay to put toward dinner at The Causeway—a pretty wonderful addition to a week on the Maine coast.

The location gives you that tucked-away Maine feeling without leaving you far from everything you came to see. Explore Spruce Head Island, Port Clyde, Thomaston, and Rockland, or head north for a day in Rockport and Camden. Knox County Regional Airport is also just about 10 minutes away.
